GAMA LTD was born from a belief that Malawi can build its own food production capacity, create local jobs, and deliver sustainable returns for investors — all through smart, integrated agro-processing.
OUR STORY
From a Simple Idea to an Integrated Agro-Processing Company
GAMA LTD started with a simple question: Why does Malawi import so much cooking oil when we have the land, the farmers, and the sunlight to produce it ourselves?
From that question, we built a business plan. We secured agricultural land. We started poultry operations. We acquired water purification equipment. We built relationships with local farmers. And we began growing crops — tomatoes, bananas, sunflowers — to sustain operations while building towards our bigger goal.
Today, GAMA LTD is an integrated agro-processing company with a clear path to becoming a major producer of sunflower cooking oil, mineral water, and agricultural products in Malawi.

WHY WE EXIST
Solving a Real Problem in Malawi's Food Supply Chain
Malawi spends millions of dollars every year importing cooking oil. At the same time, the country has fertile land, willing farmers, and growing sunflower production capacity. The missing piece is processing infrastructure.
GAMA LTD was created to fill this gap. By building a cooking oil processing plant and integrating it with local sunflower farming, poultry operations, and mineral water production, we are creating a complete food production ecosystem that keeps value in Malawi.
OUR STRATEGY
A Clear Path to Sustainable Growth
Phase 1: Foundation
Secure land, establish poultry operations, build farmer partnerships, and acquire water purification equipment. This phase is complete.
Phase 2: Production
Secure electricity infrastructure, begin cooking oil production, launch mineral water production, and scale sunflower farming with partner farmers. This is our current focus.
Phase 3: Expansion
Expand production capacity, grow distribution networks, increase farmer partnerships, and build GAMA LTD into a nationally recognised agro-processing brand.
