GAMA LTD has been self-funded by the founders to date. This has allowed us to secure land, launch poultry operations, acquire water purification equipment, and establish farmer partnerships. We are now seeking investment to unlock the next phase of our growth — primarily the cooking oil processing plant and electricity infrastructure.

Yes, we welcome international investors and partners. Malawi has a framework for foreign investment in agriculture, and we can work with investors to structure an appropriate arrangement. We would recommend consulting a Malawian legal expert on investment structures, and we can facilitate introductions.

Farmers in our programme agree to grow sunflowers on their land using seeds and, where relevant, organic fertilizer provided or facilitated by GAMA LTD. They then sell their harvest to GAMA LTD at a pre-agreed fair market price. This gives farmers a reliable market and income, while giving GAMA LTD a reliable supply of raw materials.

The timeline depends on securing investment. Once investment is in place, we estimate 3–6 months for electricity infrastructure installation and equipment procurement, followed by a commissioning period before full production begins. We can provide a detailed project timeline on request.

Sustainability is at the core of our business model. Our circular approach — using poultry manure as organic fertilizer, reducing chemical inputs, minimising waste — naturally reduces environmental impact. We are committed to operating in an environmentally responsible manner and welcome discussion on formal environmental impact assessments with investors.
